Super bbq.
Glad we bought this. A friend has had it for years and recommended this brand. We are very pleased with the quality. Did not expect it to be as good as it is.
It wants to rust
Read a review about it rusting before purchasing. Still purchased but the review was very helpful. On unpacking I wiped down every part with WD40, areas I missed tried to rust. I now give it a wipe down with WD40 every 3 months or so. Great BBQ. Get the stainless steel grills, you need to order 2 oft them to cover the entire grill. Add the rotisserie and you have a perfect roasting machine.
Bighorn bbq
The igniter unit failed, took alot of to and thro to get a replacement. A gas fitter is required as you can't get the igniter unit in between the gas pipe feeding the burners.They need to be disconnected to do this.

Hotest bbq I've used.
Fantastic heat. My last use was all cooked on low. Good solid bbq & everything appears to line up well when put together. Only downsides are the knob for the side burner isn't at the end next to the burner which doesn't make sense. Also the bbq cover has no tie downs.

A solid well designed Stainless steel BBQ makes it a pleasure to use and easy to clean. Very pleased with it.
Love it!
Takes a bit of time to assemble but it is worth it. It arrived promptly and was very well packaged. A good size for cooking for up to 6 people and very easy to maintain constant temperatures for roasting etc. I also recommend the optional stainless steel grill for ease of cleaning.
Reasonable BBQ
I wanted a bbq to last in a coastal location and this seems reasonably good value for a full stainless bbq. I have used it a few times and it works well for general use. It takes a while to assemble, but instructions were relatively easy to follow. Easy to start and heats up well. Perhaps too much heat for a very slow roast and no rotisserie option. A couple of negatives - the burner control for the side burner is not well placed and easily mistaken for a main burner control. While there is a warning sticker on the side cover, there is a fairly high risk that the burner will be switched on with the burner cover down. Blue LEDs are a bit too bright and I can't see them being used much. The bbq comes with a decent cover. Overall, a reasonable option if you're looking for a reasonable price full stainless bbq.

Not durable
Have had this under a roofed area and covered when not in use and in under 12 months exterior surfaces are rusting . Very disappointed, poor quality.

Nice BBQ, few "minor" issues
As far as cooking goes, so far a great bbq. Most of the time I have the burners on the lowest setting, still packs plenty of heat. However, the assembly manual leaves a lot to be desired. 1 States you need 2 AA batteries for the LED lights, no it is 3 AAA's you'll need. 2 Begins with telling you to remove pre-assembled screws and washers, they were not. 3 Nowhere it tells you to install door stopper. 4 Grease tray assembly has been pictured to wrong was around. 5 Side trays had more screws than what it showed on drawing. "Design" flaws. 1 A tool was included but was not usable anywhere. 2 Doors keep opening, no latches provided, I put some velcro on. 3 Hood is not straight or lined up properly with BBQ.

5 years ownership of Longhorn BBQ
Awesome BBQ Zero rust. Zero maintainance. Sturdy. Pretty easy to set up. Great cover. (ONLY the cover has really started to disintergrate now... but 5 years! Cannot complain) Outside under house eves, in Northland 24/7 . (Northland has 2,500mm to 3,500mm of rain per year!) Auto light still works. Temp gauge still works. All burners still work. and heat reflectors have not rusted out. Everything still works. The BIG awesome for ME is the 240v rotisserie and the Longhorns rear burner. I p repare the meat and rotisser with the fat on, (Self basting. SEE DISCLAIMER), from multiply ranges of meat cuts you get amazing results. Catering for the rare meat lovers to the rotisserie flavoured outer layers. Beautiful. I love the heat the 6 burner produces, this is not broil type BBQ. Cons: NOT all the Knobs are in order with the burners. The manufacturers labelling wears and it becomes a guessing game. :) DISCLAIMER: I have changed the plate setup. I have a cast iron deep dish (>50mm) over the centre 2 burners. where I roast vegetables under the rotisserie meat. I can also use this to sear meat. Use as a (shallow/deep) fryer etc. This changes the rotisserie's ease of use and the amount of fat that will be required to be drained via the BBQ. The Longhorn BBQ is a well manufactured Stainless Steel BBQ

King of low'n'slow
This BBQ has completely exceeded my expectations. Temperature control is exceptional once it locks in at 110-120°C for a low and slow cook, it holds there rock solid with no babysitting required. I've already put it through its paces with a couple of pork shoulders and pull-apart lamb legs, and the results have been outstanding every time. The pork pulls apart perfectly, unbelievably juicy, and the lamb is just moist and full of flavour. Exactly what you want from a proper low and slow cook. The practical features are a real bonus too. The side tables are genuinely useful, not just an afterthought, and the fact that it comes with a cover is a nice touch. It's easy to set up and simple to move around, which matters when you're working with a cooker this size. After cooking on this I can say with confidence I won't be buying a pellet grill. This does everything I need and does it better. Highly recommended for anyone serious about low and slow.

Such a good investment
I've put my Kamado Longhorn 21" through a serious test, and it absolutely delivered. I smoked a 4kg brisket, two whole chickens, a couple of racks of ribs, lamb shoulder, and pork shoulder everything came out beautifully tender with that perfect smoky flavor. The temperature control on this grill is rock solid, and it held steady for long cooks without any fuss. I also used the halfmoon cast iron grid for steaks and kebabs, and the sear I got was next level. Proper crust, juicy inside exactly what you want from cast iron over charcoal. This grill has quickly become the center piece of my outdoor cooking. Whether its low-and-slow or hot-and-fast, the Longhorn handles it all effortlessly. If you're looking for a versatile, reliable smoker and grill combo, this one is worth every cent. Unfortunately photos was too big to upload.
